QUOTES Pat Duran I had the last gate choice, so I was in the far left gate. I got a great start and was going for the lead out of the first turn when I got tangled up with a French guy and a Canadian. I ended up being in the middle, caught an edge and went down pretty hard. I was glad to be in the heats after a pretty violent crash in training the day before. It’s bittersweet when you’re in the heats and all you want to do is keep moving forward and win.
I am skiing pretty good now and have some confidence, so I am really excited for the Grand Prix at Canyons (Park City, UT), and the rest of the world cups. This result will help my start position for the rest of the season, so that’s something I can be happy about.
