Professional, fun and energetic coaches are the backbone of competitive freeskiing. USASA and USSA together deliver high quality education programs at all levels of the pipeline for coaches in the United States. The philosophy, based on the Freeskiing Training System, is to coach athletes to become great skiers first, with a solid fundamental skills and a love for their sport.
Freeskiing coaches education programs follow the athlete development pipeline. USASA organizes the Level 100 and 200 clinics. The USSA will organize Level 300 clinics and above. Coaches that participate in these clinics and meet the other educational requirements for each level will be recognized as certified coaches at that level. Certification is a recognition for the professional development and experience of coaches.
