Revolution Tour

Welcome to the 2012 Revolution Tour

In its eighth year, the Revolution Tour is a proving ground for up-and-coming athletes looking for a chance to compete against their peers on the national stage. The 2012 Tour will feature two new venue stops, bookended by returning resorts Copper in December and Mount Snow in March.

*The 2012 Revolution Tour has criteria to pre-qualify a portion of the field into each event. All pre-qualified athletes must register online between October 11-29, 2011 for all events they plan to compete in. After this date, all unconfirmed spots will be added to the open registration pool. Open registration for all events will begin on November 1, 2011 AT 10:00AM (MST)

Refund Policy
Entry fees will be refunded only to riders with a valid medical reason under the following provisions: Entry fees will be refunded if requested two weeks prior to first day of event onsite registration. Participants must have a valid medical reason and each case will be reviewed. Riders may be required to provide proof of medical excuse and each case will be reviewed. A $10 service charge will be deducted from all refunds. All refunds are at the sole discretion of each host resort

 

SNOWBOARDING REGISTRATION

-SNOWBOARDING DOMESTIC REGISTRATION PROCESS

*All pre-qualified rider should have received registration info via email

*Open registration begins for all events November 1,2011 @10:00am (MST)

Domestic Athlete Waitlist Policy: If events are full athletes can get on the waitlist that is started the first day of onsite registration during each event. Athletes must attend the Riders Meeting the night before the waitlisted event to claim available spots. Any unclaimed spots will be handed down to the Domestic Athlete Waitlist.

-SNOWBOARDING INTERNATIONAL REGISTRATION PROCESS
*All International athletes must submit an Inscription forms through their National Snowboard Federation.

*International Quotas: 5 total riders (It is at the discretion of the organizer to accept additional athletes above the basic quota of 5 per nation.)

International Athlete Waitlist Policy: Once international quotas are met any remaining athletes can get on the International Waitlist. The waitlist is started the first day of onsite registration during each event. International athletes must attend the Rider Meeting the night before the waitlisted event to claim available spots. Any unclaimed spots will be handed to the International Waitlist.

SNOWBOARDING COMPETITION ELIGIBILITY
*All athletes must have a current USSA National Competitors Membership and a current FIS license. 
The USSA membership service has gone online! Please click here to register online for both

USSA membership and FIS license.
*All halfpipe and slopestyle riders must be 13 years old by Dec. 31, 2011.
*All snowboardcross riders must be 15 years old by Dec. 31, 2011

SNOWBOARDING EVENT SANCTIONING
The Revolution Tour is a USSA/FIS sanctioned event. The Revolution Tour halfpipe and slopestyle are a part of the TTR (Ticket to Ride World Tour) 4 star event!

*First time USSA members make sure you sign up for the $70 "Rookie" USSA membership.

*All athletes must have a current USSA Freeskiing or Freestyle National Competitors Membership.

*All skicross athletes must be 15 years old by Dec. 31, 2011

FREESKIING EVENT SANCTIONING
The Revolution Tour is a USSA sanctioned event. The Revolution Tour halfpipe and
slopestyle are AFP (Association of Freeskiing Professionals) bronze level events!

 

**IMPORTANT NOTE**

Rider Meetings

All athletes must be represented at the rider meeting. Rider meetings are typically held the night before each event. Athletes may be removed from the start list if they are not represented at the rider meeting. Check event schedules for times and locations.
