Mammoth Mountain Grand Prix

The Sprint U.S. Grand Prix started in 1996/1997 and is now in its 16th year. This well respected event in Snowboarding and now for its second year Freeskiing Halfpipe and new this season Slopestyle skiing. The Mammoth Mountain stop is especially notable from both the Freeskiing and Snowboarding worlds; it has received the honorable inclusion of FIS World Cup (for Freeskiing), TTR 5Star rating (Snowboarding) and AFP (Association of Freeskiing Professionals) platinum level status. This unique event is the only one in existence to receive such a high level status from so many organizations. Grand Prix has played an integral part in Snowboarding qualification in past years and it will undoubtedly do the same for Freeskiing. This event will surely be a highlight of the 2011/2012 competition season
