BIOGRAPHY
A multi-talented athlete that competes in halfpipe, slopestyle and big air, Lyman Currier, is on the cusp and about to take the world by storm. Making waves on the rookie circuit during the 2011/2012 seasons, Currier landed in eighth in the AFP World Rankings out of nearly 3,000 other competitors.

LYMAN SAYS
2011/12 was a season of highs and lows.  On the one hand, I had my best results ever in both slope and pipe, but it was a major effort at all the big events to handle the training and competition schedule. I tore my left ACL at the Project Gold Camp in Mammoth in late May. Right before the injury in Mammoth, I had just finished adding some of the biggest tricks ever, especially unnatural, and I feel like I’ll be coming back super-fresh and ready to pick up where I left off.

FIRST TRACKS
In 1996 when Currier was 18 months old and he wasn’t getting stuck in daycare at Beaver Creek! Although still in diapers his parents found the smallest boots available and he was a little ripper when he got into ski school when he was three years old.

OFF THE SNOW
You’ll find Currier with his Boulder crew of friends, playing basketball, training and listening to music. He also enjoys travel, culture, food, and other cultures. He says “The next big country I want to visit is Russia!!”
