![]() A dark horse and eclectic skier, Duncan Adams says, "I've always skied and always had a ravenous desire to do cool stuff on snow. In halfpipe, that hasn't always meant the craziest looking or wildest tricks, but more subtle runs.” His unique, show-stopping runs prove it time and time again as he continues to produce solid results. During the 2012 season, Adams boosted two third-place finishes at the Breckenridge Dew Tour and the VISA U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain, which prompted invites to X Games Aspen and X Games Tignes in France. He was set to keep the momentum going when an injury in Aspen sidelined him for the winter. Unfortunately, the ski world missed Adams’ signature style and amplitude in 2013 because he suffered a couple nagging injuries and wasn’t able to compete. But not to worry, with some more rehab no doubt Adams will be back at it again. DUNCAN SAYS FIRST TRACKS OFF THE SNOW |
