BIOGRAPHY:
Growing up as the kid sister to her freeskiing brothers, Devin Logan always wanted to be a part of the action. So it only seemed natural when she picked up halfpipe and slopestyle skiing. What wasn't natural, however, was her learning curve: at 15 she was on the U.S. Championships podium, finishing second in halfpipe skiing. Then, in 2011—her first full competition season—the 17-year old Vermont native made her X Games debut in both halfpipe and slopestyle and went on to collect her first X Games medal with a halfpipe skiing bronze at the European X Games. But Logan wasn't done there, collecting her first U.S. halfpipe skiing title and the overall AFP crown to cap her rookie season. If 2011 was any indication of what's next, Devin won't just meet expectations, she'll soar above them.

DEVIN SAYS:
I didn't really know how this season was going to turn out for me. I had high expectations for myself, but after this season was over I looked back on everything I had done and was way more proud of myself than I could have ever imagined being. My goal for the next season is to keep doing what I have been doing. I would love to make it to the finals in every competition I enter, and just keep working my hardest to learn more and more.

FIRST TRACKS:
Traveling to Mt. Snow every weekend with her family, Devin got started skiing at the young age of 2; having older siblings that were in the development programs, you could pretty much guess where she was heading. When she was 6, she would travel around to competitions with her mom to watch her two brothers, and that's when her mom told her that if she was going to watch, she might as well be doing the competitions. The funny thing is that she wanted to be an alpine racer, but her brothers wouldn't allow it. Looking back, she's really glad that they said something!

OFF THE SNOW:
When I am not skiing I really like to catch up with all of my friends because I don't get to see them very much during the winter months. I really like to stay active and play soccer and stay outdoors doing anything really. I try to get some ramping hours in too so I stay in the groove of skiing. This summer, though, is going to be different because I am going to try to ski all through the summer.
